Witches Triangle: Berwick

My friends and I have been intrigued by the story of the Witches Triangle near Berwick for some time. Feb. 17th 2010 we finally went into the house that sits on the grounds near the "triangle" or woods. Us being believers in the paranormal weren't really expecting too much. We had heard stories that it use to be a KKK meeting place where they hung people and that's what was haunting there. The other story (From which the place got its name) was that the people there hung witches there in the earlier times.
However the most recent stories come from the house which sits on the land nearby. It is said to have been an orphanage/asylum which I have found a few files confirming the orphanage parts. Others say it was just a family that lived there. Long story short, the man/father that lived in the house took the children and the mother out into the "triangle" and made them watch as he raped and killed them one after another then hung himself in a tree next to the woods. Upon discovering the bodies, the police also found the slain bodies of several animals plus words and symbols written in their blood in both the basement of the house and the barn across from it.
People have reported seeing children walking through the woods. What we also read about today Feb. 18th 2010 is that people have seen foot prints going through the snow in only one direction...Either to the house or away from the house. Which is something the three of us noted yesterday, footprints going to the house. But none away.
The trees are all dead at the bottom and alive at the top. If you google map the area around the triangle you will see that everywhere around the triangle is green and alive, while the property is all brown and dead. When you walk into the woods, there is no signs of life and it is quiet. No animals seem to reside there.
We stepped into the house and saw things all over the house. A magazine strewn on the floor shows that some kids were most likely camping out in there at some point. We also found the basement door ajar, but did not enter.
As we walked through the house things got weirder. We were prepared and not phased by any slight movements that could have been from the house. Paranoia can sometimes cause you to hear and see stuff so it is best to stay calm.
While in the living room we discovered blood splatter on the walls and on the floor. In one place it looked as though blood had been dripping from the ceiling. As we looked closer we saw that the place of origin directly above that spot was a gaping hole in the second floor.
We moved on into the second floor via a staircase added on an extension of the house. It took us to an attic like bedroom with an old metal frame still sitting at the top of the stairs. We wandered through the house and started to get a very strange feeling.
Me: We entered the house and went upstairs. We were only skimming through the house and didn't take good note of everything.
Girl 1: Did you look in the upstairs bathroom with the tub?
Me: No, why?
Girl 1: When my step brother and I went there, there was a tub upstairs that was covered in blood. It was creepy we got out of there fast.
As we reached the other end of the house we could see my car through a hole in the window but what caught my attention in this attic/room was the faint sound of someone choking. We left that room promptly and headed outside.
Girl 2: Did you go to the basement?
Me: No, we didn't have a flashlight to this time but we are going back with one.
Girl 2: All the messed up stuff is there! The guy use to sacrifice animals down there and there are kid toys that move on their own downstairs. My boyfriend and I were followed by a toy with wheels around the basement then the door slammed shut and locked. We were stuck in there for hours until the door randomly unlatched and opened. It was messed up I was so scared!
We examined the area around the house a little before the wind started picking up and dark clouds started rolling in so we decided it was time to go. As we started walking we heard children giggling. We turned around and watched the house and the trees but couldn't see anything. Just heard children. Then just as quickly as we had heard them, they faded.
