Tytoona Cave

This is an interesting cave that is located in Sinking Valley. Great place to visit on a hot summer day, being the teperature down here stays cool no matter how hot it is.

I had visited this cave in the Sinking valley when I was a child. But seeing this picture I was so confused. Everything changed about the cave. The cave was so dense and there were so many trees around the cave. Hmm time changes everything.

Yes I have been back in it. It is big enough to stand upright in it. From Altoona you would follow Kettle Road, almost to the top, the turn for Tytoona is right before you get to Arch Rock(so if you see the sign for that you went too far) You make a left on a gravel road called Marrow Lane, go about 1/2 a mile and you will see big green barrels on the left side of the road, where you can also park your car. Please email me if you have anymore questions. SharonRose13@ymail.com

Have you actually gone in it? How big is it in there? Can you strand upright? And where is the cave in relation to Altoona? THANKS!
