The Man in the Woods.

As a child, my mom would let me and a friend ride out bikes to an old public pool. We did this almost every day in the summer. One day I invited a friend over and we were planning to swim.
On the way to the pool there was a little patch of woods. There was a little story behind the woods. The story was that there was a man who kidnapped a little girl rapped her, and then killed her. He then barried her under a large pine tree. He then went to kill himself and to do that he cut off his hand and bled to death.
The story says that the man still haunts the woods, looking to kidnap other children who go into the woods.
Well, on our way to the pool, I was telling my friend the story about the woods. She got excited and wanted to go. I was a little scared but didn't wanna look like a chicken so I went.
When we went into the forest I felt as if I was being watched, which freaked me out a little, but there was no turning back. We kept walking and then my friend said "Holy Shit!". I ran to where she was at her feet was what looked like a decaying hand. We started running and that's when we ran into a big pine tree. Under the tree was what looked like dug up ground. We ran out of the forest. We then both heard a deep laugh that sounded like knives being sharpened. We then ran right out of the forest.
Later that day, we went back to the tree and took a picture of what we thought was the grave of the little girl. I still have the picture somewhere but I have to look for it.
