Shawnee Mountain Timber & Balloon Festival

October 17th-19th, 2008 at Shawnee Mountain in the Poconos. Three fun-filled days of hot air ballooning and lumberjack festivities. IRONJACK Timber Team shows including log rolling, pole climbing, axe and chainsaw competitions, buck sawing and more! Spectacular hot air balloons, sky diving exhibitions, scenic chairlift rides, food & craft vendors, good time bands and pig races all during prime fall foliage time!! Great event with tons of exhibitions in a beautiful area!

My husband and I recently went to the balloon festival( last night to be exact). They had people who were doing sculptures of bears with chainsaws. We were tempted to buy one but we didn't. My question to anyone out there is do you know how I can contact these people to buy one. The one we liked was 25.00 By the way this festival shouldn't be missed by anyone who can make it. Thank you so much for letting us know about the Shawnee Mountains Timber & Balloon Festival. It was really nice to see such a beautiful picture. I've always wanted to take a hot air balloon ride. What a wonderful area to take that ride. I sure hope the weather was like this past weekend for you.
