Having worked both seasons the Pocono Renn Faire existed, please understand that it wasn't a lack of interest or attendance that caused the Faire to close - that leaves a certain implication of insult to the people who worked so hard to make it successful. It was a success, and was busy on all but the rainiest days we were scheduled to run.
So as not to insult any parties I'll put it this way - the organizer of the faire lost access to the grounds the faire took place on and there was no alternate place.

Pocono's Renaissance Faire by: Patricia
I spent a lot of time trying to research your question about the Pocono's Renaissance Faire and from what I'm finding they had to cancel this event due to lake of attendance.
It's sad to find out all the various festivals through PA that no longer exists due to the economy.
