Poe Evermore

Dates: October 31 through November 15
Time: Show times vary. Please check our website.
Location: Mount Hope Estate, 2775 Lebanon Road, Manheim, PA 17545

Inside gloomily lit, intimate theater rooms, Edgar Allan Poe himself bid all welcome to an evening of spine-tingling tales. Bizarre characters from Poe’s tales of mystery and mayhem, step out of his pages to recount several of his Tales of the Grotesque and the Arabesque. No dramatic presentation of Poe’s works would be complete without a rendition of “The Raven,” his enduring poem of a love lost, a living death, and a persistent, unwelcome tap-tap-tapping visitor. Interspersed throughout the evening are more tales of woe, unrequited love and other recitations designed to elevate the consciousness of the soul and the spirit.
