Thank you for sharing these pictures. There's really nothing outside this site that remembers Joseph and George. If I'm not mistaken in my calculations, and I could be, Joseph was born 11/29/1850, and George 3/30/1854. Poor George had just had a birthday.

Thank you so much for submitting both sides of the Monument of the Lost Children of The Alleghenies. It's so nice to read the inscription on both sides. I'm amazed in those days how they gave their ages down to not only the years but also the months and days.
