Jubilee Day - Mechanicsburg, PA

Jubilee Day in Mechanicsburg, PA goes back to 1923 when a group of local businessmen were in Gettysburg during a town wide celebration. The businessmen decided then that their hometown, the borough of Mechanicsburg, needed such an affair.

Jubilee Day is the largest, longest running one-day street fair in the eastern part of the United States and is held rain or shine. Over its 80+ year history, Jubilee Day has grown to have a regional draw of upwards of 60,000 people who attend. Admission is FREE. The event features wares from local artists and craftsmen, as well as great food, fun games, and exciting amusement rides. There is also a children’s area behind Citizen’s Bank, which features FREE kids games, activities and a petting zoo.
