A great time for a visit with old and new friends. Times to show your talent. Just set in the lawn and enjoy the music and food.

"Houtzdale Days 2011"
THURSDAY, June 21, 6:00 P.M. Moshannon Valley Ministerium will begin the event with Vesper Services, Then Citizen of the year will be announced followed by RJ SOUNDS and show us your talent/ Karaoke(not a contest)until 10:00.
FRIDAY, June 22, 6:00 Hot dog Eating Contest, Hula hoop Contest, 5K Run. Entertainment on the Legion Lawn, Jerry Schickling and the North Country Band 7:00 to 10:00
Saturday: Fishing Derby for Kids 14 and under and Childrens day at the firehall in the morning.
6:00 P.M. Parade, then at 7:00 Scott Alleregetto will be doing a tribute to ELVIS until 10:00, then as a finale the Wonderful Fireworks display.
Vendors with food, raffles,health info,gameswill be open each evening. There will be something for everyone.

A new event for Houtzdale Days

We are also having a 5K Run/Walk as part of Houtzdale Days this year! We are very excited to hold our first race as part of this annual event. For more information, go to www.movalleyracer.org.

Thank you Carol for reminding us of Houtzdale Days in July. Houtzdale is such a neat little community, I have neighbors that moved there a few years ago and love living there.
