Haunted Greensburg, Pennsylvania

by Sarah
(Greensburg, Pennsylvania)

We have alot of old buildings here in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. I would say most of them are haunted. In the old churches at night I can see the lights go on by themselves. I wish I knew more about these old buildings and their history but I do not. Its also a shame that the historical society can't save more of these buildings.

This is the location of the ufo store. We lived in one of the apartments there and experienced a female voice calling my husband's name. Caught a voice on my iPhone when video taping, "I ask my dog if anyone was here" cause he kept looking past me and barking, which was strange. I listened to the recording I did 3 minutes long and a male voice answered, "Anthony". We'd be woken in the middle of the night by many voices and figures of men and women in our room carrying on conversations and occasionally look over at us on the bed. I believed in ghost but this is the first time either one of us has experienced it.

Farmhouse on 119
by: pgh mike

I recently read about an old farmhouse somewhere on Rt 119 that has been turned into a B&B. It was supposedly haunted by the spirit of a teenaged boy who was "slow" & died in a farming accident. He was laid out in the house & then buried, supposedly in the family cemetery because he as a cousin of the family who owned the farm.

Ghosts of Greensburg

Stop by the Moose Lodge in Greensburg and ask the members about the Ghosts that haunt there. I use to work there as a bartender and I've actually seen grown men run out of the place in fear.

What county is Greensburg in? Find out which county and search for that county' assessors office on line. Once you gain access just search by address. It will give you the age of the house.
