Ghost dog in graveyard

When I was about thirteen and with some friends on a street adjacent to a local cemetery one evening we encountered something that I remember to this day. We were playing kick the wicket when out of nowhere a large white dog the size of a Saint Benard came running past us and ran right through a metal fence made of bars that were only maybe three inches apart. My friends were split on who saw it and who didn't because the whole thing took less than a minute.I'm now sixty years old and remember it like it was yesterday.
