Gettysburg's Ghost and Ghouls

by 12 year old writer
(Bedford, PA)

My family just got home from a trip to Gettysburg PA. We stayed for 3 nights and left on the fourth day. On one of our many visits to the battlefield we were driving around when we saw a back road filled with monuments and at the end of the road was a dead end. We stopped to take some pictures and turned around in the gravel to leave when our back-up alarm went off. (Goes off when you back up a foot away from something so you dont run into it.) We all heard it but didn't say anything and looked only to find nothing there. Well we didn't wait around to see what it was so we left to the sound of walking ghost walking behind the car in our heads.

Our Imaginations
by: Patricia

Yeah, no doubt, when something like that happens in a Pennsylvania area well known for it's many ghostly tales something like that would really get your imaginations spinning.
