Flaming Foliage Festival, Renovo Oct. 10 & 11, 2009

This is a great little festival tucked into the mountains and the river, held the second weekend of October. The whole town celebrates with a festive array of crafts, tasty foods, and a parade.

Great excuse to take a road trip...the ride along the winding and scenic West Branch of the Susquehanna River is especially gorgeous now with the rich colors of maple, oaks, and evergreen pines full on the hills.
