Fall Into Fine Craft - Carlisle, PA

On October 26 and 27, 2013, the Yellow Breeches Chapter of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen will present its annual fine craft show, Fall Into Fine Craft, at the Carlisle Expo Center in Carlisle, PA. This show will feature quality original handcrafted designs of the Chapter’s artisan members.

Exhibitors include artisans working in fiber, photography, glass, clay, wood, watercolor, vitreous enamel, fine decorative painting, metal and other mediums. Works for sale will include furniture, designer fashions, collectible dolls and Santas, jewelry, paintings, and many other fine pieces, all made by the exhibiting artisans. The show will again include our Boutique, a unique-to-our-show platform to showcase original handcrafted works by even more Chapter artisan members.

Fall Into Fine Craft will again host our invitational high school student art competition. A total of 8 high schools will be participating at this year’s event, including Big Spring, Carlisle, Central Dauphin East, Camp Hill, Northern, Trinity, Cumberland Valley and Boiling Springs. Participating students will compete for cash awards for Best in Show ($500), Best 2-Dimensional Work ($100), Best 3-Dimensional Work ($100) and People’s Choice ($100).

Admission is $5 per person and comes with a $5 coupon that can be redeemed toward a purchase at any exhibiting artisan’s booth or in the Boutique during the show. Also included with admission is a chance to win one of several door prizes donated by Chapter member artisans.

Fall Into Fine Craft will be open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Parking at the Carlisle Expo Center is free, ample, and convenient with food concessions available during show hours.
