Crafty Mama's Craft Market

by Kim Patti
(State College, PA)

On Saturday, May 21, 2016, the Childbirth Education Association (CEA) will sponsor the first annual Crafty Mama’s Craft Market at Trinity Lutheran Church on North Atherton Street, State College. This new event has been created by Lorie Waters to give moms an opportunity to showcase crafts they make at home and wouldn’t normally have a venue to sell them. Our goal is to have 25 unique vendors.

Tables (6 and 8 foot in length) will be provided and will cost $20. The cost will cover a $5 donation to the church, $5 for advertising and a $10 donation to CEA. CEA is a 501c3 non-profit, serving the Centre County region for over 50 years! For more information on CEA please go to www.ceaofstatecollege.org.

We will be sending fliers home with local preschools, local radio stations will do public service announcements, we will create a Facebook event and advertise on Happy Valley Moms, Bellefonte Moms and other Facebook groups that will allow. We will list our event in the CDT calendar, Family Pages, Town and Gown and Bellefonte Gazette.

We thank you in advance for your support.

Hearing of This Page's Founder's Passing
by: William Conti

I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She helped me set up my page for the "PA State Flaming Foliage Festival" in Renovo, PA held the second full weekend of each October.

She was so helpful, personable, and supportive and we exchanged messages every year when it was time to post the new notice.

My sincere sympathies on this loss and I wish you all the best of luck as you assume the administration of this great resource.

Thanks for the information!
by: Matthew

Sorry it took so long to approve this, my mother (the previous site owner) was sick for several years and passed away in March but handed the website to me and I'm now learning the ropes of managing websites of this size and caliber. Thanks for sharing the information about this festival!
