Christmas In The Barns

Christmas In The Barns is a brand new event for 2008. It will be held on October 18, 2008 from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Clinton County Fair Grounds in Mackeyville, PA. The event will include craft vendors displaying their items in the horse stalls of the barns. There will be a tree decorating contest, a wreath decorating contest, Reindeer Games for the little ones as well as Santa will be there in his hut waiting to see each and every one of them. There will be live entertainment throughout the day and we are still working on a live nativity. If things work out, there may even be sleigh rides available. There will also be a "kid's corner" and even a gingerbread barn contest. Other activities are still being planned.

Home-made food will consist of soups, apple dumplings and plenty of flavors of ice-cream. All will be served with piping hot pork sandwiches.

This one day event is being planned to benefit the Clinton County Fair.
