'HERITAGE DAY' is a community event at the historical Mt. Vernon Furnace grounds in Wooddale, Pa.on October, 19, 2013 (Saturday) 10 am until Dusk.

You can meet our artisans and vendors who dress in Colonial themed clothing. Everything takes place in a beautiful wooded setting with the Mt. Vernon Furnace in the background. Enjoy the historical displays and talks, delicious homemade foods and desserts, great music and the crisp Autumn weather and leaves. Their will be an art contest and children's writing contest results displayed, too. Games for kids.We always have our horseback riding preacher that joins us every year.
