Blair County African American Heritage Festival - July 28th, 2012

The 19th annual Blair County African American Heritage Festival will be held at Penn State Altoona on Saturday, July 28, 12pm to 7pm.

This daylong festival of music, arts, crafts and history celebrates African American culture in Blair County, and features music by Jazz artists Bob Baldwin and Galen, Pittsburgh's House of Soul (R&B group), Ibeji Drum Ensemble (African dance and drumming) and more.

Traditional soul and festival foods will be available throughout the day. Children’s area and historical display will also be provided for festival-goers. Admission is $1 per carload. For more information, please check out our web site: www.altoona.psu.edu/aahp
