1st pic is Carl Avenue facing south. That black and white house at the end of the block is still there (the brat with the blonde hair is me).
2nd pic is the intersection at 12th Street & 200 in 1941.
3rd pic is the SAME intersection taken 68 years later in 2009 for comparison, the stop sign is in the same place but please NOTE the telephone pole and fire hydrant, they are the only things that haven't changed.
4th pic - are some guys who played chicken with another car. Both lost I guess. My Dad took this picture in 1951. In faded ink it was said to have occurred at the base of Frankstown Road.
